Why Life Coaching Works

Life Coaching works best when the client is committed.

  • Committed to change

  • Able to open up and communicate

  • Open to feedback

  • Open to new ideas

  • When a client is truly committed to the process, there is no limit to what the life coach and the client can achieve together.

Life Coaching Is About Setting Your Agenda

Life coaching puts your wishes, your desires, and your goals in the driver’s seat.  The coach isn’t going to place their own values on you because your values are the only ones that matter in coaching.  The coach also isn’t going to try to “convince” you to do anything, since you know your life best.

What the coach will do is support what works best for you, and what you need to do in order to achieve your dreams.   You might already know what needs to be done, and a coach can help you realize it. No matter what your goal is, or what your needs are, you are the one in control of your life coaching.

Coaching works because people don’t know how to change. Life coaches will help you create a plan utilizing a structured approach based upon  your priorities.

Coaches have the ability to view things from afar...

in what some call 'helicopter vision' — and to shed new light on difficult situations. Often coaches can act as a sounding board through tough decisions, help sharpen skills, and motivate.

Why You Should Consider Life Coaching?

The Top 5 Reasons to Hire a Professional Life Coach

As you read each reason, try on each one fully, as though you’ve already achieved the benefit. Ask yourself, “Is this something I want more of in my life?”

1. Design your life to maximize FULFILLMENT

Isn’t being fulfilled what life is all about? In whatever we are doing in life whether its’ work,  relationships, family, socializing,  etc I believe in feeling joy and fulfillment and we owe It to ourselves to be mindful of how important that is. Life is meant to be lived with a sense of purpose, joy, peace and fulfillment.

It is so easy to get bombarded by day to day commitments, feeling the need to take care of others needs before your own to a point where you are not balanced anymore

At different times in your life, you may stay in job that doesn’t bring you fulfillment and you don’t think you have options.

When you’re not fulfilled, do you notice over time how your energy drops.

How many times have you heard yourself saying, “ I'm so exhausted”or “I just don’t have time to do that".

Well if you have experienced any of this, you know that over long periods of time, you may feel stress, apathy and sometimes just irritable, or even a sense of sadness.

You no longer have to just let time go by and accept things as they are. You have the choice to free yourself to make different choices. You no longer have to feel stuck. You may not realize it, but sometimes we all have limiting beliefs that keep us right where we are and we sometimes don’t really feel like we have options. Well, I'm here to tell you, this is just not true!

As your coach, I put “fulfillment and passion” back on the top of your list (you’ll notice this theme throughout my website) I remind you what it was like to have hopes and dreams and believe that all things were possible. No matter what you may be thinking, it is never too late to live the life you want to live. Sometimes we all just need a little support and that is what

I'm here to do for you. There are many factors that contribute to passion and fulfillment. Throughout our coaching relationship we’ll identify what is truly meaningful for you and we’ll look at EVERY area of your life. We’ll prioritize what you want to work on first. Transforming your life isn’t necessarily easy. However, it’s worth the effort. And you deserve it!

99% of individuals who have had a life coach report that it was helpful for them, with 95% of those reporting that it’s been very helpful for them.  In all, 96% reported that they would engage in coaching services again.

2. Create CLARITY on “What YOU really WANT in your life”

Sometimes this is the toughest step of all and yet the most important. Remember you always have choices, even if you don’t think you do. Throughout life we often have to redefine are choices as we evolve and grow. What was most important five, ten fifteen years ago is probably not what’s really most important to you now. In clarifying the “what’s most important?”, an enormous weight if lifted and you create the energy you need that will give you the confidence you have within you to start your transition.

  • What’s most important to you in life?

  • What’s most important to you in your career?

  • What’s most important to you in your relationships?

  • What are you tolerating in your life?

  • What do you want MORE of?

  • What do you want LESS of?

As your coach, we’ll explore options, discover what you really want in life, and focus on what you truly love to do. Then we’ll design your life around the “what’s most important”, setting values-based goals and prioritized action items, and integrate them into your life.

Who says you have to work harder to create more results? We’ll create plans that maximize your desired results, without draining your life.  As you accomplish measurable results, you’ll gain more confidence to get to the next goal!

My role as your coach is to support you every step the way, keep you focused and  keep your vision alive. As your coach, I will remind you of the “What’s Most Important in YOUR life” and continuously guide you so you stay on your path to your new destination.

4. Accountability — The Power of your Word

Have you ever broken a commitment you made to yourself? Ok me too, I may need a calculator for that one! As silly as it may sound, the power of your “word” to an unbiased coach, can be what truly makes the difference By having someone who will listen to you, and support you, yet hold  you accountable for your commitments each week, you will be amazed at how much change you will experience!

5. Have YOUR successes fully championed, acknowledged and celebrated.

Have you ever worked long and hard to accomplish an objective, then not had someone to fully celebrate with you? Or had a personal breakthrough that your friends and family just don’t seem to fully appreciate? It can be a let-down to work diligently on a task, or “on yourself” — and then not have it fully appreciated or noticed by others. We are often are worst critics and forget to even acknowledge ourselves.

I’ve learned how impactful and life-altering it is to have someone champion you —It can be the single most important element in EMPOWERING you and CREATING EXCITEMENT AND ENTHUSIAM TO MAKE LASTING SUSTAINABLE CHANGES!

What if ALL your Successes and breakthroughs were acknowledged, championed and celebrated? What if you had someone in your life who assumed this role? As you are taking your life to the next level, your coach will do just that. Why is this important? Simply stated, YOU deserve it!!!

A Few Final Words…

The reason you hire a coach, will likely NOT be for just one reason. I can absolutely assure you that we’ll FOCUS on the primary reasons you hire me (as will any coach).

There may be multiple areas but we’ll start with the most important so you get that sense of gratification and excitement to continue. As you experience small changes, they all lead you to the larger transformation you want to make.

When you make a commitment to yourself by hiring a coach, a whole world of benefits will present them selves to you, than if you try to make significant changes on your own.  A coach gives you an edge, enabling you to go from being great to being extraordinary.
